An Email from Ellie 10/31/2013:

To Rotary Club of Bethel….I am soooo happy to announce that I have been chosen to go to Guatemala!!!!!!   There are only 3 of us going from 7780 because we couldn't raise all the money needed. Ann wanted me to thank all of you for the extra donation to  Rotoplast.  I'll keep you updated as I get more information.  Thanks for your support to me and the Mission,  Ellie

District 7780 Volunteers off to Rotoplast Missions

Congratulations to Dalit Wolfe from Brunswick Coastal, Cate Rafferty from Dover and Ellie Andrews from Bethel, who have been selected to go as non-medical volunteers on the District's next Rotaplast mission, which will take place in Guatemala in March.  In addition, Ted Alex from the Portsmouth club will be volunteering with the Rotaplast mission to New Delhi, India, in November.  We are still fundraising for the Guatemala Rotaplast mission -- a Guatemalan quilt is being raffled to help support the project. Be sure to purchase your ticket -- the drawing will be held at the World Peace and Understanding Dinner in February.

The mission in Guatemala will be a busy one, providing over 100 children with the chance for a more normal life as their facial deformities are corrected. Our volunteers will indeed be taking part in life-changing work.
