MEMBERS WE MISSED: Dennis, Hart, Mann, Murphy, Smith, Steven, Thrall, Zinchuk
A couple of business items ... the membership agreed to partner with River Valley Rotary to share our Moose Booth. There will be a Fireside Chat at 6 pm at the RiverView Resort on Wed February 25. See Kevin F if any questions.
As the picture stated, Gould Academy presented how they have been participating in the WGME-TV 2015 School Spirit Challenge. They've sold attic items (Gould's lost and found items), had an Art Sale, held paid to dress down days and dinners, sold cupcakes, and sold couch and butler rights to watch the Super Bowl. All this to help The Good Shepard Food Bank help end hunger in Maine. The School Challenge pits Gould against other high school's and communities in Maine. Should Gould win, 50% of the monies that Gould raised will come back to our very own Bethel Food Pantry.
We're in the final days of the Challenge - click here to visit their virtual food drive.

RI President-elect K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran chose Be a Gift to the World as his theme for 2015-16. Ravindran urges Rotary members to give the gifts of time, talent, and knowledge to improve lives in communities across the globe. "Through Rotary, we can take these gifts and make a genuine difference in the lives of others and in our world."
Thank you Bob Laux for bringing this to our attention.
